I just returned from a teaching trip to Santa Maria. The people are wonderful there, and of course, quilters are friendly and welcoming.
I spent some time just looking around the areas where I had spent time as a child growing up. My last view of the Pacific at mid=day yesterday was for the top of a hill looking back toward Morro Bay. The mountains, the clear blue sky, the ocean with the sun sparkling on it. I felt I could see forever!
