I used a fat quarter packet I purchased on Kauii last October. No paper piecing and I really quilted it heavily. I am pleased with the outcome.
Have been taking photos off my camera (finally). I want to share a couple of recent quilt projects.
- I made to illustrate a nine patch variation. Of course, when I put it up to take the photo I discovered two blocks turned the wrong direction. Out came the seam ripper!
- My technique for making the pineapple block. This one is scrappy, of course
- I was trying variations of using nine patch blocks while developing a talk.
- Painted plumeria
Visiting with grandchildren

So far I have used a disappearing nine patch and variable star designs. Now I am working on one with a pinwheel motif. I will post photos as the quilts get quilted.
